Welcome to the Portland Area Theatre Alliance (PATA) website. PATA is THE most up-to-date and vital resource for live theatre in the Portland/Vancouver metro area. Here, you'll find more information about local theatres and how you can get involved as an audience member, performer, crew member, educator, or service provider.
There will be three qualifying dates, one in late January and two in February. Signup will be through the website and a time slot will be required. We no longer have standby slots.
Membership in PATA is required, unless you are AEA and have current card in hand. We do encourage AEA actors to join PATA to take advantage of the other membership benefits in the PDX area and within the theatre community.
If you haven't noticed the changes about the website I encourage you to explore it.
You will need to log on to your profile and set up your new PATA resume online. We will no longer use PDF versions. Please fill out the template and select the credits you wish to have listed for your general audition. More info listed about this on the auditions page.

Lots of you wonder: Hey, I get this PATA pass thing every year when I renew my membership... WTH ("What the Heck") do I do with it? Well. Here's you're answer! And... if you've renewed in the past few months and are waiting for your pass, now that our new fantastic Administrative Assistant Peter Schuyler is on board we'll be catching up on those, sending out the spanking new version to you via e-mail.

We are working on some website enhancements including standardized resumes for all actors. This will mean that you enter your performance history in various sections which will help us standardize everyone's resume styles and make it easier for Theatre companies to read your resumes! It will also eliminate any problems with requiring resumes in a certain limited format and will be easy for you to update - just like a resume on LinkedIn or various talent agency websites. Your resume can also be made searchable in this way which will further help directors with casting.
Your continuing individual, business & company memberships help us fund this ongoing website enhancement. Thank you for your support!
