The Valentine Fund
The Valentine Fund was initiated in 1987 to provide financial assistance to members of the Portland-area theatre community in times of medical or personal emergency.
PATA is proud to have supported our artists in times of need for more than 30 years. The Valentine Fund is made possible by donations from the community, businesses, and PATA members. We hold an annual fundraising drive and accept donations throughout the year.

What is the process for applying?
Please, fill out your online application here. Attach any information to support your application. Once your application is received, your application will be reviewed by the anonymous Valentine Fund panel, and the Board will make the final decision. You will be contacted about the Board's decision.
How often can I apply for funds?
After the Valentine Fund panel makes a decision in response to your application, if they grant you funds, you must wait 6 months before you may submit another application. If they do not grant you funds, you must wait 2 weeks before you may submit a followup application with answers to additional questions and more supporting documents.
