Due April 1, 2022 - Citywide General Auditions Online - Actor Registration

In support of our community's safety during the COVID-19 pandemic, PATA's 2022 Citywide General Auditions (a.k.a. Generals) will be a digital talent binder and spreadsheet distributed to auditors. 

Besides the basic information on this registration page, downloadable materials from this season's info sessions are at the Auditions page. Info sessions provide more thorough guidance for participating in the Citywide General Auditions.

To be included in the 2022 Citywide General Auditions Binder, candidates will need to take care of the following by 11:59 PM PDT on April 1, 2022:  

• Membership

• • Make sure your individual-level membership in PATA or Theatre Puget Sound (TPS) meets eligibility requirements:
• • To be eligible, your PATA or TPS membership renewal due date must be on or after April 1, 2022.
  • If your membership is in TPS, please email the Office Manager with proof of your membership to register for 2022 Generals. The automated system will not let you register yourself. 
  • If you do not have a PATA membership, you can join at this page. Individual performers, student performers, and individual theatre technicians are eligible to audition at Generals.

• Registration & $15 Binder Fee. 
• • PATA members can pay electronically by credit card when they register using this page.
  • TPS members will receive an emailed invoice, which can be paid by credit card.
  • Payments by mailed check accepted on or before April 1, 2022 at Portland Area Theatre Alliance Mailbox, Portland Center Stage at the Armory, 128 Northwest 11th Avenue, Portland, Or 97209. Write the check to "Portland Area Theatre Alliance." Please, email the Office Manager to register if you will pay by check.

• Binder Materials

• • PATA members can either upload their headshot and resume while registering or email them to the Office Manager.
  • TPS members must email their headshot and resume to the Office Manager.
  • Specifications:
• • Your photo should be a .jpg (>1 MB and <20 MB file size) named LastName_FirstName.jpg, and your one-page resume should be a .pdf, <20 MB, named LastName_FirstName.pdf. 
  • For example, our Office Manager's name is Elliot Lorenc. Therefore, their files would be Lorenc_Elliot.jpg and Lorenc_Elliot.pdf.
